Assistant Commissioner Noshki Maria Shamoon has been safely rescued after being abducted by militants, following a major joint operation carried out by Pakistan Army and security forces.

According to security sources, militants linked to the banned BLA group kidnapped the assistant commissioner a day earlier. Soon after the incident, a coordinated rescue operation was launched involving multiple security agencies, including SSG commandos.

During the operation, 7 to 11 militants involved in the abduction were killed, and the officer was recovered safely. The timely and professional response of the security forces has been widely appreciated.
