Peshawar (Nawai Masihi News) – Checks for religious festivals have started being distributed to minority religious leaders in KPK province of Pakistan.


According to details, under the special directive of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, religious leaders from minority communities have begun receiving checks worth five lakh rupees for festivals, rituals, and events. For this purpose, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has approved a 9 crore 20 lakh rupees fund.


On this occasion, the Chief Minister's focal person, Minister Zada, Secretary of the Ministry of Hajj, Religious, and Minority Affairs, Adil Siddique, Provincial Minority Leader Samuel Robert, Provincial Information Secretary Raahat Nazir, Deputy General Secretary Judon Joseph, Peshawar Region President Tadeel Kamran, and Innocent distributed the aid checks among the religious leaders.


This initiative aims to promote religious freedom, participation in events, and interfaith harmony among communities of different religions.
